Griffin Ced gave a presentation at Flambeau Noir in Portland, Oregon USA on the weekend of April 27-29, 2018

Griffin is the Virtue holder and Witch Father for the Ced Tradition and family line. Hailing from Britain, Griffin comes from a mix of Hertfordshire Village folk, Romany Gypsy, Essex and London breeding. The Witchblood was passed onto him across the veil from his Great-Grandmother, who having decided it was time to move on, drowned herself in a bucket a year before his birth. He was raised with Spiritualism and good old fashioned British Craft, into which he was initiated in Essex back in 1975.

Griffin Ced has an extensive background in both the Occult and Theatrical Arts and has lead the Ced Line and Tradition in the USA for the past 20 years with Rita Morgan, the Dame and Mother of the Line. His dramaturgy background comes from both theatre and film, where he has worked on thirty-three films and a large number of stage productions. Griffin Ced is co-author of the novel, Cerridwen's Cauldron as well as several extensive works on the Tarot and Gnostic British Traditional Witchcraft. He also created the dynamic Tarot Deck, which is the result of two gnostic transmission sessions through Griffin Ced, mediating the Traditional Craft cosmology of The Ced Stream into concept sketches aligned with the history and classic imagery of traditional Tarot, resulting in the final assembly of Dame Fates visual language.

Griffin has been teaching and leading public rituals for the past two decades and is committed to Community-building today at The Green Man store in North Hollywood where he is the store manager, helping to create the magical experience people have come to love at the store.
